Kelsy heard what she said as she grabbed her wrist and she pulled her arm away from Sophie. "You're not my mother," Kelsy said. "She tried to get me to listen but she couldn't even do that." Kelsy said. "If you don't leave me alone, you'll end up wishing you did."

Sophie shrugged, tightening her grip on Kelsy's arm. "Mom isn't very good with kids. And I'm not very good with listening to threats. No matter how bad you are I'm not letting you go off to do something you regret. The streets aren't a nice place."
Kelsy felt her grip tighten and she glared at Sophie. "I won't regret shit. The only thing I'll regret is staying with you. And the ONLY thing I regret is finding you," Kelsy sneered.

Sophie scoffed. "I don't really care what you think right now, trust me I'm saving you from a world of hurt." she replied. "But if I have to I will follow you around until you decide maybe you should just come home with me where at least there's somewhere comfortable to sleep and plenty of food."
Kelsy growled at her and she looked away. She really didn't want to stay with Sophie but she also didn't want to sleep on the streets. "Whatever," Kelsy muttered.

Sophie heard what Kelsy said and rolled her eyes. “Well I want a popsicle,” she pouted. “Look, my fiancé will be back by the time we get there. You don’t have to be nice to me, but be nice to her. She’s a good person.”

Sophie glanced back at her and nodded. They had made it to the building but she paused outside the door. “You never actually agreed to be nice to her.” she said pointedly.
