“Of course I am.” she replied as he drew his gun. She sharply stepped on his foot then grabbed his wrist, using momentum and her body weight to twist it to a painful angle behind his back. “Move and I break it. I suggest you drop the gun.” she whispered. She heard the other man grunt and assumed Kelsy had gotten free. “Grab the knife, Kelse.” she called, keeping her gaze on the man in case he tried to escape her grasp.
Kelsy heard Sophie and she grabbed the knife out of the bag. She smirked as she felt the familiar coolness of the hilt of the knife. She twirled it around in her hand and she glanced at the guy on the ground who got up. She frowned and she saw him coming towards her. She rolled her eyes as she jabbed the knife into the mans side, causing him to fall to the ground, bleeding from the wound.

Sophie listened to Kelsy and the other man struggle before twisting her guy’s arm further until he had to drop the gun. “Grab the gun, then leave the ally and wait for me around the corner.” she said.
Kelsy grinned at her sister and she dropped the blade into Sophie's hand before she made her way out of the alley. She lent against the wall waiting for Sophie to be done with what she needed to do with the guys.

"Want another chance, bunny?" she asked. She got a better grip on the knife before loosening her hold on him. Immediately he whirled around and tried to shove her against the wall. She jabbed the knife into his shoulder and twisted. "If you ever try to touch my sister again I will kill you. Understand?" she hissed. The man drew back and then tried to grab at her, but she jabbed her knee into his balls and then made her retreat. With the wound in his side Kelsy's guy wouldn't be able to give chase, and this one would be down for a few moments.
"Let's go," she said, walking out of the ally. "This way. I'm not jumping that fence again."
Kelsy glanced at her phone as she waited for Sophie to come to her. She glanced up as Sophie walked towards her. She followed Sophie wiping her hand on her black pants. She was thankful because then the blood stain wouldn't show.

"You don't get to run off like that," Sophie said, "I am recovering from injuries, I'm not going to chase you down an ally again. I don't care how much you don't want to go with Jason, you aren't going to go off on your own."
Kelsy heard what she said. "I didn't ask you to follow me," Kelsy said to her. "You chose to follow me on your own accord. I would have been just fine on my own. I would have figured out a way to get away from them just fine."

Sophie shook her head. "It's not really a matter of what you think, what do you think mom would do if I let you get into a situation where you could get hurt?" she asked. "I already don't get along with her."
"I wasn't going to get hurt. He just took me off guard which is why I shrieked. When you showed up I was already formulating a plan of how to get away ," Kelsy said to her. "And funny how suddenly you give a shit about me."

"He had a gun. He would have shot you in the knee so you couldn't run and then..." her voice trailed off. "Kelsy, don't get me wrong. I don't want you staying with me. My fiance's already upset about the dog. That doesn't mean I don't care. You're a young girl and you remind me of myself. I don't want you getting yourself hurt."
Kelsy heard what she said and she shook her head. "I'll be fine," Kelsy said. "Go back home to your perfect house with your fiance. I promise you won't hear from me and I'll try to stay out of trouble." Kelsy turned and took off down the busy street getting lost in the crowd.

Sophie growled as Kelsy walked off again and quickly navigated the crowd to find her, grabbing her wrist. "Nope. Not gonna work," she said. "Come on, we're going back."
