It's been about two months since Jesse had made a reappearance in Sophie's life and things were off to a slow start. They had looked at a few apartments and they finally found one with enough rooms for the four of them, although Jesse doubted that Archie would sleep in his own room. Jesse had quickly found a job serving at a local restaurant and he loved every minute of it. He was extremely outgoing and most of the young women fawned over his accent. So he was able to bring in a decent amount of money in tips each night which he would put away in a box and use it when needed. BUt currently, Jesse was on his way to the airport because Archie finally made arrangements to fly out to the states to stay with him. He couldn't wait to see him.
Mackenzie was at the apartment by herself for once. She had moved in with Jesse and Sophie when they finally got the place and she loved being on her own. She felt empowered, like an adult and it made her feel important. Plus she was living with Sophie so she often spent the nights in her room, and she would sneak in there well after Jesse would be in bed as to not be seen. Mack had applied to a few different jobs and none of them had called her back until now. She ended up getting a job as a barista and she was excited about it.
Mackenzie was currently cleaning, as she always did. She was wearing a pair of yoga shorts that hugged her hips and a t-shirt. Her hair was in a messy bun and she had on her glasses that she often wore when she was tired of wearing her contacts. She glanced at her phone as she lent over the counter to wipe the counter off. SHe frowned when she did see anything from Sophie but she knew the girl was probably busy looking for a job.
