Haley chuckled. "Well, to be fair cooking is just about the only thing I can do," she commented. She finished mixing the salad ingredients together then turned to Maya. "Alright, want a tour?"

Haley just smiled at Maya's offer. "Great, well," she said. "This is the kitchen. Obviously. It's my favorite room. And theeeeen... You saw the living room when you came in so I guess we should start upstairs," she said, leading the way to the staircase. She really was lucky to be living here with Liam.

“Hey Liam,” she greeted as they came to the gaming room upstairs. They had to pass through it to get to the main bedroom, which was slightly annoying for her considering it was where Liam liked to hang out. This apartment didn't make it easy to be invisible.
He didn’t bother taking his headphones off so she moved past him towards the bedroom. Some of her art was hung on the walls, but nothing she was truly proud of. Liam thought any art that had real meaning was too dark for her, so instead there were drawings of flowers and puppies and a few sketches she’d hung up to reference as she worked. Other than her art desk, the room was clean. Thank god.
Maya glanced at 'Liam' and she noticed how he didn't even greet her when she came into the room. Maya followed past him and she entered the room. "I love the art," Maya said as she glanced at the drawings. "Did you do these?"

Haley nodded. “Yeah, a little hobby of mine.” she said, walking over to her desk and shutting her sketchbook before Maya could see that she’d been sketching her face. She had run out of other inspiration. “Not that I’m really that good. My little brother is the one with the real talent.”
"Not good?" Maya asked her in shock. "Haley these are amazing. Like really good." Maya looked at the sketches and she glanced over at her. "Where do you draw your inspiration from?"

Haley shrugged. “It depends on the drawings. Sometimes from song lyrics or people or just how I’m feeling.” she said. “None of those are like that though. They’re just… pretty things.”
"Well I think you have amazing talent," Maya said to her with a small smile. She saw a sketchbook on her desk. "Do you have anything in there?" Maya asked pointing to the sketchbook.

Haley hesitated before responding. "Nothing complete. I keep all of that in here," she said, opening the desk drawer and pulling out her portfolio. "Feel free to go through it." There were very few people she gave free reign of her art, but she didn't feel like searching through old drawings for the ones she wanted to share.

Maya heard her and she took the portfolio and thumbed through it. "Haley these are amazing," Maya told her, looking at her. "Like really amazing. Have you ever thought about selling any of these?"

Haley shook her head. “I used to take commissions, but I don’t really have the time anymore.” she replied. “I’m not good enough at business to succeed in art anyways and my parents need someone to take over.”
"Well I think you should post them online and see if people will buy them," Maya said to her. Maya heard what she said about her parents. "Well if you need someone to help you with taking over, I'd be willing to help you."

Haley shook her head. “It’s not that I don’t know I’m good, I just don’t want to share my art with the world like that. It’s more just personal.” she said. “When other people see art it changes the meaning behind it, and that’s what really matters.”
