Mackenzie heard what Sophie said and she nodded her head. "I just don't need Lizzie to be around her... when she's not stable," Mack muttered as Lizzie came running into the room.
"Mommy!" Lizzie exclaimed as she hugged Sophie around the waist.

Mack heard what Lizzie said and she groaned. She could never say no to Lizzie but she really didn't want to get a dog right now. "Not right now Baby. Maybe in a few months okay?" Mack said.
"But Momma..." Lizzie pouted, "I really want a doggie."
"I understand that but right now we can't," Mack said to her.

Sophie rolled her eyes. There was really no reason they couldn’t have a dog, but she wasn’t about to point that out in front of Lizzie. “It’s ok, Lizzie. Your uncle Jason has a dog, maybe we can ask him if we can visit it sometime.” Sophie said. Lizzie hadn’t actually met Jason since the kidnapping incident, but that wasn’t exactly intentional.

Sophie nodded. “Sounds good,” she replied. “Now Lizzie,” she grinned, putting Lizzie down on the ground. “I heard you got an extra special princess dress the other day and you still haven’t shown me?”
