Jesse sighed as he typed out a message to his boyfriend back home. Archie was due to come to the states to be with Jesse any day now, well as long as everything went to plan. What started out as Jesse going to the states to check up on his sister for her father, caused him to be disowned by his own family. Somehow, some way, his father got hold of pictures of Jesse and Archie in a liplock around town (which okay it was a bad idea on his part because anyone could see but he had been careful) and according to his father, no son of his was going to be openly gay and be proud about it. So his father cut him off (cut off his credit cards, his phone, took his car, took everything from him) and Jesse used the ticket that Sophie's father bought him to escape to the states. He was a little peeved because, since he was of age, he should have access to his trust fund but his father apparently locked the account and that made it very hard for him to gain access to any of the money.
Jesse glanced at the address he had written down and he looked up at the hotel in front of him. He nodded his head and he entered the building. He made his way down the hall towards the room that he was told Sophie was in. He was curious as to who the girl in the hospital was to Sophie. The way she was acting towards the girl led him to believe that she, too, was hiding a secret; just like he had been. For him, it had gotten out and he was finally free of the confines of his family. He could love who he wanted to love, be who he wanted to be and no one could tell him different. Jesse finally stopped in front of the room. He glanced at his phone, answered a text from Archie and he slid his phone back into his pocket. He knocked on the door and waited.
Mack has been living in a hotel room down the hall from Sophie since her mom got arrested and she got out of the hospital. She was thankful for a place to stay, and because she was so close to Sophie, she often spent her free time hanging out with the girl. So when Sophie had asked her to go to Charley's house to rescue her, she didn't think twice. That and because she was infatuated with the girl. Currently Mack was laying on the bed with Sophie and the girls were watching TV. Mack's hand was resting on Sophie's as they watched TV and to be frank, she was waiting for the girl to take her hand away since that seemed to be Sophie's trademark move. Allow Mack to do what she wanted (hand holding, kissing) and then she would pull away, act like nothing happened and then brush every other advance after that off.
When a knock sounded on the door, Mack frowned. She looked over at Sophie who was still healing from the beating she had taken. With the two of them being alone, she didn't have to hide the bruises. Mack would help Sophie clean up the wounds and make sure they were healing okay. She would also run to the store for Sophie if she needed extra supplies. "I've got it..." Mack said to her before getting out of bed. She was wearing a tanktop along with low rise sweats that hung low on her hips. Her hair was up in a messy bun. Mack opened the door and froze.
Jesse wasn't sure what he was expecting when the door opened to the hotel room. Honestly he was expecting the door not to open. So when it did, he took a step back. He glanced at the girl who answered the door and he recognized her as the girl from the hospital room. The girl who Sophie had been crying over, holding onto her hand as if she was going to disappear if she didn't. "Is Sophie here?" Jesse's thick british accent sounded at the door.
